My name is Andrew Ritchey. I’m a graduate student in sociology at UNC Chapel Hill. My current interests are culture and music.
When not busy being a student, I write regularly for The Independent Weekly, a news and culture paper for North Carolina’s Triangle. You can view a collection of my contributions, but for a feature I like, check out this piece on steampunk music. I contribute radio stories to Carolina Connection on WCHL. I also DJ at WXYC. You can stream me live on Thursday mornings from 9am to 12pm.
